Background & Printpack Solution: Nutrex came to Printpack with a need for a label that would include tamper-evidence and also have a metallic look. A printed shrink sleeve label made of Pro-Affinia™ PVC covers a proprietary silver HDPE bottle. Security was critical to the product, so Printpack suggested the inclusion of the tamper-evident band as part of the sleeve. The sleeve covers the bottle from top to bottom. A horizontal perforation allows the band to be removed while the label stays on the container. The silver container shows through the clear portion of the sleeve, providing a metallic look, making this an ideal solution for Nutrex Products.

Result:
The shrink sleeve packaging was a successful format for Nutrex with many other Nutrex products following this packaging format.
