Background & Printpack Solution: In its efforts to be an eco-friendly company, Water Inc was looking for sustainable packaging for its water filters. In addition, the cylindrical shape of the filters made it difficult for other label substrates to adhere to the filters and look appealing to the consumers. Printpack’s Earthfirst® PLA film was the ideal film as it conforms to the shape of the filters, can be printed, is recyclable and has maximum shelf impact.
Result:
Water Inc felt that Printpack met all the challenges for their water filters. They used this successful format for 4 different filter shapes.
