Printpack Announces Plant Closure

ATLANTA, GA – November 3, 2022- Clay Castleberry, Senior Vice President, Operations of Printpack, met with company associates at the New Castle, DE, manufacturing facility today and announced that the plant was closing.

Mr. Castleberry informed the group, “Decisions like this that negatively impact the lives and livelihoods of any of our associates are never easy to make, and this decision is in no way a reflection of our capable and dedicated associates in New Castle. He added, “Market realities force us to continue to improve our cost positions in order to sustain our business over the long term.”

Currently, there are 81 associates employed at this location. The company will offer transfers to associates who are interested in employment opportunities at other Printpack locations. As part of the severance package, outplacement assistance and a continuation of health care benefits will be provided.
