Printpack Mexico Earns Three Awards For The Liquid Soap Stand-up Pouch During the Envase Estelar 2023 Competition

June 14, 2023, Guadalajara, MX – Envase Estelar 2023 recognized Printpack with three awards for one single product during Mexico´s Expopack show, which was held in Guadalajara from June 13^th to June 15^th. Printpack participated with its most recent product innovation, a liquid soap stand-up pouch, designed for Kimberly Clark’s Kleenex brand. During the event, it was announced that the pouch won the “Envase Estelar 2023” distinction, as well as two additional categories that included an award for “Excellence in Packaging in the Health and Beauty Category ” and for “Sustainability”.

Originally this product used a combination of polyester, nylon, and polyethylene materials, which made it very difficult to recycle. The new version was designed solely with polyethylene, making it easily recyclable. In addition, the new solution also replaced the traditional screw-cap spout with a die-cut dispensing channel, reducing the amount of plastic weight used by as much as 30%.

Printpack is excited about this recognition but even more so for the addition of a new sustainable innovation, which broadens its product solutions portfolio.
