ATLANTA, GA — Printpack is proud to announce that on March 19, 2026, the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) awarded the company four Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards, the most of any converter.
As Printpack celebrates its 70th anniversary, the company continues to demonstrate that the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit that has defined it since its foundation remains stronger than ever. This milestone year brings renewed pride as the industry once again recognizes Printpack’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of packaging excellence — a testament to seven decades of vision and customer-focused innovation.
Printpack received a Gold Award for Shelf Impact for the Barcel Mi Tierra family of tortilla chips. The three packages include design elements inspired by Mexico’s rich pre-Hispanic iconography and use intricate cultural motifs that celebrate authentic Mexican heritage. Each flavor variant displays unique design characteristics that maintain collection cohesion while allowing for individual product differentiation. The packages were also honored with an Envase Estelar award in Mexico.
Printpack also won a Gold Award for Shelf Impact for the limited-edition Harry Potter Butterbeer Goldfish package. Pepperidge Farm embraced the magic of Harry Potter Butterbeer Season with a spellbinding package that showcased a rich midnight blue backdrop adorned with shimmering golden Harry Potter imagery across the entire bag. With a crimped top closure showing off the metallized interior, each package was like a small beautifully wrapped gift that was impossible to miss on shelf.
The KIND Recyclable High Barrier Paper Bar Wrap received a Silver Award for Technical Innovation. Developed by Printpack in partnership with KIND, the structure provides the barrier required to protect nut-based bars while offering consumers a more sustainable disposal option. In addition to the required barrier protection for food safety and quality, the wrapper can be accepted in curbside recycling streams, thereby advancing both packaging functionality and environmental responsibility.
Printpack’s final award was a Silver Award for Shelf Impact for the Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Glow in the Dark Halloween package. The Goldfish logo as well as two playful trick-or-treating ghosts were enhanced with glow in the dark ink. By merging Halloween-themed appeal with engaging functionality, the package created a memorable brand experience that delighted children and adults alike. The result was packaging that elevated an ordinary snack into an interactive moment and strengthened brand connection through playful innovation.
“We are honored to receive four Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards,” said David Love, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Printpack. “This recognition highlights our team’s commitment to innovation and exceptional quality — aspects that have been part of Printpack’s DNA since the company was founded 70 years ago.
